Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with a range of SEND.
* Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for students with SEND, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary.
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and partnership.
* Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and inspire students with SEND, promoting a love for learning.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and the school.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEND experience.
* Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and SEMH.
* Familiarity with the latest SEND legislation and best practices.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational trends.
