Address Axcis Education are actively seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals with SEND experience to work in a primary school located in Burton. The school is looking to recruit individuals who can bring their knowledge and experience to a pro-active team working with ASD needs. The role: • Supporting children of a primary age group in a classroom-based setting. • Full-time or part-time • Working hours - Mon- Fri: 8:00am – 15:00pm • The role is initially temporary to start with, with a view to go permanent for the right candidates. • Pay rate – £14.46ph/£94 per day. You will need to be adaptable, flexible and able to develop good relationships with the children you are working with. Qualifications and Experience: • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with children with autism • Understanding, empathy, and the ability to cater to children’s individual needs • Relevant qualifications and certifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Autism Awareness, or similar would be desirable.
