A specialist SEND school in Durham are looking to appoint an SEND Teaching Assistant to join their school on a full time basis. As a SEND SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be working with students who display behaviours that can challenge. All students will have hold a ECHP with a diagnosis of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will need to be resilient, proactive and be able to build rapport quickly.
This is a full time SEND Teaching Assistant role which for the right person will run until the end of the academic year.
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with students with behaviours that challenege
- A passion for education and helping people
- A nurturing and engaging personality
