Office based: Basildon
Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 + Monthly bonuses

The role of the Senior Account Manager - Groundwork & Reinforcements will involve:

• Senior Account Manager position selling a range of high quality manufactured range steel reinforcements, formworks, waterproofing, reinforcement accessories, concrete, slabs and piling
• Selling to main & tier 1 contractors, groundwork contractors, piling contractors and civil engineers
• You will be managing a maximum of 20 key accounts at any one time
• Develop and maintain existing customer relationships to maximise potential
• Dealing with and handling all incoming enquiries via telephone and email
• Chasing sales leads and producing quotations, following up on them
• Able to provide technical product advice to customers
• Provide excellent customer service at all times, whilst upselling and cross selling where possible
• Project sizes can vary from £2,000 to £100,000

The ideal applicant will be Senior Account Manager - Groundwork & Reinforcements with:

• Must have 5 + years sales experience, preferably within the construction/manufacturing industry
• Any technical background within steel stockholding, reinforcement or groundwork; highly beneficial
• Strong relationship building skills
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Customer focused and orientated
• Ambitious with a desire to succeed and grow with the company
• Personable, team player, problem solver, driven and enthusiastic
