Senior Accountant

Think Accountancy and Finance are working with an innovative Accountancy Practice in Luton who are now looking to build their team with an experienced Senior Accountant to join their firm.

Having visited the office in Luton, it is evident from first impressions that this is a great place to work. It is set in modern offices with amble parking and all staff were very welcoming and extremely friendly. The business offers hybrid working and also paid overtime!

This is a great opportunity for someone to ensure all aspects of financial reporting and auditing are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

The practice is growing at quite a pace, so they need a new Accountant with strong Practice experience.

Our client is looking for someone who is fully qualified in ACA/ACCA.

Main duties include:

• Prepare Management Accounts on time
• Work with junior staff to support their training and development
• Review annual accounts that have been prepared by junior staff
• Finalise accounts and then pass to manager for review
• Complete audit planning documentation
• Visit clients on site to support their audits
• Review and finish audit files
• Tax Computations - business and corporation
• Personal tax returns and provide advisory to clients
• Team management of junior staff

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone who has experience in all aspects of financial reporting and auditing as well as people management.
