Senior Accountant

A dynamic and rapidly growing company that is committed to excellence seeks to appoint a qualified accountant to a broad and varied role for a long-term contract with a realistic view of going permanent given the strong trading conditions experienced by the organisation. They have demonstrated an excellent culture over the years and seek to further scale up their headcount.
Your new role
You will play a key role in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports providing insight over the numbers to key decision makers across the business. You will support year-end obligations with oversight for VAT to ensure the business complies with their external obligations. You will have oversight for ensuring that the financial ledgers are maintained tightly in an accurate manner. You will work on a range of process improvement projects across the business as they continue to enhance the development of the finance function as a whole.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with broad management and financial reporting skills and a hands-on approach which will serve itself well in a busy finance function. You will relish working in a fast-paced business where you seek to enhance the way financial information is delivered across the business to improve decision-making.
