Business Services Senior Accountant - Chinese speaking 

We are seeking a Business Services Senior Accountant to join our client's team. The successful candidate can look forward to joining a Top 50 accountancy practice based in central London, near Liverpool Street. This will be a client-facing role, working in the Business Services department of the firm. You will join a sub-team of around 3 people and will be responsible for 50% year end accounts, and 50% management accounts and tax computations. 

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the preparation of accounts from client portfolio within specified budget timescale.
• Occasional supervision of junior staff, when providing additional support to Accounts Senior.
• Production of draft accounts together with a well-presented accounts file (paper / paperless), for review.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Manage general office-based day to day duties, as required.
• Ad hoc specialist assignments as and when they arise
• Take part in marketing and business development opportunities.

Requirements

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA (Qualified tax advisory /accountant) and with experience working in an established UK accountancy firm.
• Fully conversant with Sage and QuickBooks software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management with ability to meet tight deadline.
• Flexible attitude, with ability to priorities workloads
• Experience in managing and leading a portfolio of sizable Chinese clients in different sectors.
• Fluent in Chinese and English communication.
