SalarySenior Accountant Client Manager
Our client is a long established firm of chartered accountants who offer a client focused service. Due to recent expansion, they are looking for a highly motivated and pro-active qualified accountant.
You must be organised, efficient and able to work, unsupervised, to strict deadlines. You will be responsible for providing a selection of clients with an all-round accounting and taxation services.
THIS ROLE OFFERS PROGRESSION TO MANAGEMENT LEVEL FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.
Key responsibilities but not solely limited to:
- - Manage a portfolio of clients and assist in preparing year end accounts and corporation tax returns in a timely manner
- - Produce and review management accounts, oversees compliance work, general client advisory
- - Use of accounting software such as Xero, Dext, Quickbooks and Sage
- - Liaising with HMRC when required
- - Training junior staff
- - Ad-hoc company secretarial work for clients
Key skills:
- - ACCA/ACA qualified; would consider qualified by experience
- - a minimum of 3 years practice experience is desirable
- - Experience in managing client portfolio
- - Experience in using accounting software, preferably Iris
- - Ability to work under pressure and attention to details
- - Experience in personal tax work highly desirable
