Senior Accountant - Systems

Role - Senior Accountant - Systems Team
Duration - Permanent
Salary Grade - 44,403- 47,420 + 3,203 car allowance.
Client - Local Authority in the Home Counties
G2 are working on behalf of a local authority client in the Home Counties who are seeking a permanent Senior Systems Accountant to join their team of 5 including yourself.
The client do operate a hybrid working policy and typically do 1 day per/week in the office as a team.
Main focus areas are:
Report writing (Power BI, Crystal or other)
Excel spreadsheet experience to an advanced level (use of Macros and other functions like pivot tables, V-lookup)
Reconciliation work using feeder systems (e.g. payroll)
The role will suit someone who has had previous local government experience in a similar role but is not essential.
Ideally you will be fully qualified such as CCAB, CIMA, ACCA, ICA etc but the client could accept Part Qualified with a lot of relevant experience.
Interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams and will be as soon as someone is sent through that the client like so could turnaround quickly.
