Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (Full Time)

Hybrid after probation period

Our client, a well-established and respected Chartered Accountancy firm, is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team. With over 70 years of experience and a diverse clientele, our client takes pride in providing exceptional service to owner-managed businesses and UK subsidiaries of large international groups.

As the Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing all aspects of statutory accounts work. You will lead a team of professionals, ensuring high-quality results and meeting all deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA with a proven track record in portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare budgets, time lines, and obtain client sign-off, ensuring adherence.
• Drive business development initiatives.
• Provide timely feedback to partners on client issues and produce complete files with minimal review points.
• Identify potential additional business revenue and explore opportunities with clients.
• Manage team performance and development, providing feedback and reporting to partners regularly.
• Ensure milestones, reviews, and appraisals are conducted on time.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in portfolio management.
• Extensive experience in statutory accounts and management accounts within a Mid-Tier Practise.
• Experience in managing and developing a team.
• Knowledge of current UK GAAP accounting standards.
