Responsibilities:
- Preparing accounts and production using Iris accounts software
- Preparing and filing tax returns for limited companies and sole traders
- Preparing and filing annual confirmation statements
- Regularly liaising with clients on tax and accounting matters
- Attending client meetings when required
- Client tax registrations with HMRC
- Overseeing the bookkeeping process
- Reviewing and approving VAT returns
- Overseeing Payroll and auto-enrolement process
- Training on cloud applications as and when reqyured
Skills and experience required:
- Experience working in Accountancy practice (Essential)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building strong client relationships
- ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience using Sage, Xero and Quickbooks (Desirable)
- Analytical approach to their work
- Highly motivated and driven
