Our client is a growing, successful Financial company that offers accounting and various other modern-age processing ways to help finance Managers with their career progression. Due to the continued success of the business, the team are expanding by looking to acquire the services of an experienced Senior Accounts Clerk to join the team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established company of over 20 years. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable with experience in using QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate customer invoices in GBP, EURO and other currencies.
- Provide managed Accounts Receivable & Payable statements.
- Chase and monitor payment progress.
- Set up Business Partners on QuickBooks.
- Verify and authorise invoices.
- Contribute to Profit & Loss reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations.
- VAT return procedures.
- Conduct credit checks as required.
- Prepare month-end reports.
- Consolidate and reconcile Accounts.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous accounting experience is essential.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks is essential.
- Demonstrable expertise in Cost Accounting and International/Currency Trade Transactions.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Committed team player.
Additional Information:
- Hours- 8.30 am – 5 pm, Office based.
- Office team of 12.
- Full training provided.
