Our client, an exciting & growing business based in Guildford is looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Assistant into their Accountancy team
Description
Senior Accounts Payable Assistant - Guildford
- Tracking financial commitments and invoices received.
- Managing and tracking short term debt obligations.
- Considering timelines/deadlines and accuracy of payments.
- Tracking expenditure to observe trends.
- Compiling reports that communicate expenditure.
- Cash flow management on debts/payables - managing weekly spend.
- Assisting Events Directors with their budgets - reports, updates, queries.
- Managing Xero - reconciling debits, posting invoices, coding and PO management through Approval Max.
- Invoice management, liaising with suppliers, raising queries, negotiating terms, approvals and payments.
- Bank reconciliation and making sure that all payments are reconciled and coded appropriately to budgets.
- Processing payroll, expenses and pensions - including setting up starters and managing leavers. This includes liaising with payroll manager at our accountants.
- Managing tax payments such as VAT, PAYE, DEA (Deduction of Earning Allowances) and Corporation Tax
