A growing Burgess Hill based organisation are looking to recruit a 12 month fixed term contract Senior Accounts Payable Controller on a full time basis.

Description

As Senior Accounts Payable Controller you will be responsible for:

• Setting up new suppliers and following internal controls
• Processing a large volume of invoices ensuring the team meet the strict deadlines specified
• Ensure accuracy when matching invoices to purchase orders
• Dealing with invoice queries in a timely manner to avoid delays in payment
• Assisting the organisation with the use of the system
• Liaise with Services to ensure invoices are received in a timely manner
• Processing employee expenses in accordance with Company policy
• Generating payments to suppliers on a weekly basis and ensure ad-hoc payments are kept to a minimum
• Work closely with the procurement Office
• Manage the Reconciliation of supplier statements on a monthly basis to ensure that the purchase ledger is up to date
• Manage the production of month end reports to ensure these are produced in line with the Finance team deadlines

Profile

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail
• Knowledge of accounts receivable procedures
• Experience and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Confident using Microsoft Excel
