The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. The role requires experience in both financial and administrative tasks, as well as leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team of administrators, guiding them towards achieving operational excellence in order to support the business in offering the highest quality funeral services.

Responsibilities
As the Senior Administrator, you will part of our senior leadership team, helping to drive the business forward while specifically overseeing the HR, Finance, and administrative functions of the business.
The role includes;
- Key stakeholder in the HR process. Acting as first point of contact, liaising with the external HR Team and managing staff annual leave requests across the company.
- Working alongside the external Finance and Payroll teams.
- Provide high-level administrative support, managing payments in and out of the business.
- Overseeing the admin team as they manage, organise and update relevant data using our internal database applications.
- Liaising with internal team of Funeral Directors on a regular basis to ensure information provided is accurate and up-to-date.
- Overseeing that operating procedures are adhered to and maintained on a daily basis.
- Other business-related duties as assigned.
- Due to the nature of the business, there will be some requirement to speak with bereaved families both in person and over the phone.
Experience & Skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with grieving families with compassion and empathy.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships within the local community.
- Proficient at operating a computer including the use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Willingness to develop knowledge & skills through training.
- Full training will be provided, so previous experience in the funeral directing role is not essential.

Salaries & Benefits
Salary will be discussed with potential candidates during interview and will be dependent upon any prior experience in the role/industry.
Any overtime worked over your contractual hours will be paid at an overtime rate.
