Please Note: This is a permanent position working 13 hours per week (April to August 2024) The role will then increase to 35 hours per week form September.Salary: Grade 6, £28,565 – £30,390 per annum
Approximately £8,356 - £8,890 per annum, pro rata. (0.29253 FTE) (13 hours per week)
Approximately £22,497 – £23,934 per annum, pro rata. (0.78758 FTE) (35 hours per week)
About us and the role
We are looking to appoint a Senior School Administrator to take the lead on our Admissions process. This position is a fixed term contract until August 2024. Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. The school is rapidly expanding and will grow year by year to a full cohort of 1,320. This is an exciting time to join the school as it continues its journey to outstanding.

• To administer and support the admissions process for the school, working with the Local Authority and within the Trust-wide admissions policies.
• To provide administration support for Nursery funding codes each term (as updated via DfE 15h/30h free childcare entitlement).
• To contribute to multi-agency meetings to ensure a localised waiting list is maintained by the school and adheres to the Trust-wide admissions policy.
• To line manage other admin/support staff as directed by the Principal/BSM and ensure they carry out their essential daily duties.

• Knowledge of the legislation that applies to the admissions for pupils including the Education (Pupil Registration) (England) Regulations 2006 (Amended Sept 2013) and the DFE School Attendance Guidance (July 2019)
