Job description

A leading entity within the legal sector, dedicated to leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and client services. With a commitment to excellence, the IT team plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless delivery of software services and products, optimizing technological investments, and maintaining the highest standards of performance.

Specializing in iManage, you will assume responsibility for providing operational and technical support for the Document Management System (DMS), particularly Cloud iManage. This role entails collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery, investigating and resolving technical issues efficiently, and fostering knowledge sharing within the IT function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of all service/processes related to designated applications, with a particular focus on Cloud iManage.
  • Managing relationships with external suppliers for specialized support.
  • Leading and overseeing project work to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Continuously updating and improving technical skills as per role requirements.
  • Mentoring junior team members, offering technical guidance and support.
  • Planning and managing system release schedules, devising contingency plans for maximum availability.
  • Acting as Technical Lead for one or more applications within the supported estate.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in providing advanced support for Enterprise Level Applications, specifically iManage Document Management System, within the legal sector.
  • Proficiency in iManage Work, including various modules and tools such as Security Policy Manager, Threat Manager, iManage Control Centre (IMCC), Universal API, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and related systems.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management systems and best practices (e.g., ITIL framework).
  • Experience with Practice Management Systems (e.g., Elite Enterprise/3E), CRM systems (e.g., LexisNexis InterAction), and other legal sector-specific applications.
  • Understanding of network systems including Active Directory/Azure AD, Microsoft Exchange, and Remote Desktop solutions.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and report writing methodologies (SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI).
  • Basic understanding of workflow concepts and application integration via APIs and SQL.
