Senior Architect

Our client are seeking a talented Senior Architect to join their well established and award winning, AJ Top 100, multi-disciplinary design-led practice in Central London. The successful Senior Architect will work within a collaborative team environment from initial concept to completion on large-scale, complex projects across a number of different sectors. Our client's predominant workload is currently in the residential & commercial sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, design led Architect with 3 years + experience. The most successful Senior Architect should also have strong 3D modelling skills utilising Autodesk Revit. Our client are looking for a Senior Architect that can demonstrate experience working within a variety of residential typologies and wider commercial experience, along with a practical understanding and passion for sustainability.

Senior Architect Position Overview

• Project management: Identify and manage work stage deliverables, design programmes, and plan the work of team members where required
• Assist with overseeing and managing workload
• Take leadership on projects throughout all RIBA stages
• Manage a design team
• Assist Junior members of staff
• Leadership: Overseeing design quality, setting direction and reviewing design information
• Perform the duties of lead consultant and liaise with clients
• Concept design: lead client briefing process, develop design options for client consideration, produce high quality visuals and design documents to communicate proposals
• Prepare detail drawings and specifications for inclusion in Stage 4+ information
• Prepare written project documents such as work stage reports, design and access statements, and internal project reports

Senior Architect Position Requirements

• Front end and delivery experience
• Proven experience of residential or commercial sector
• ARB Qualified Architect
• Able to run projects
• Be able to deliver projects to a high level of quality and client satisfaction
• Excellent Revit and IT presentation skills
• Highly articulate and able to communicate to clients and colleagues at all levels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, tight deadlines and work on various projects concurrently
• Highly organised and detail-orientated team-player

Senior Architect Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary (£45,000 - £55,000 DOE)
