Role overview:
We are looking for a Senior Architect to join our team, to work on a range of workplace, residential, educational, public realm, and infrastructure projects. We are keen to meet candidates who are purpose driven with an interest in low carbon, reuse, and the circular economy.
You will assist in managing the studio on a day-to-day basis, including resourcing, project and team management, training, and mentoring.
You can expect to be actively involved in negotiating fees, contractual responsibilities, and change management.
Collaboration with the UST marketing team to lead communications and enhance the companys profile, as well as seeking opportunities for business development, are also key aspects of the role.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A registered Architect, ARB (10 years post part 3).
- Excellent project management skills, delivering on time and profitability.
- Experience and accountability working in the UK as a project architect from Work Stages 0-7.
- High level of competency and experience (5 years minimum) running multiple projects and owning client relationships.
- Ability to maintain and develop professional obligations and competencies.
- Strong presentation skills (verbal and graphical).
- Excellent technical knowledge and ability to lead and produce planning, tender and construction drawing packages.
Desirable skills:
- Experience in education, commercial and public realm design.
- Excellent understanding of sustainable and circular design.
- Highly experienced with Revit.
- High level of proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.
- Understanding of market trends, future planning, and building business resilience.
