Senior Architect job available with an AJ100 practice in London! You will be joining a dedicated team to work on conservation and heritage schemes throughout all RIBA stages. This role offers a range of benefits and hybrid working!

Working with public bodies, charities, trusts, private companies, contractors, developers, and individuals, this practice has been involved in the care and development of some of the best-loved buildings and places in the UK and abroad. The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts. Their bold and contemporary designs are spread across a variety of sectors including cultural, master planning, education, ecclesiastical, public, hospitality, residential, and many more.

This position is for a Qualified Senior Architect with conservation experience, you will ideally be working towards or already have a Conservation Accreditation.
Role & Responsibilities

• To lead and run conservation/heritage projects of various scales within a mixture of sectors in public and private sectors
• Support project leads on the day-to-day running of projects across all RIBA stages
• Manage teams of sub-consultants and work closely with clients to support them through all stages of projects
• Run projects during construction, acting as contract administrator if required
• Business development through networking and contributing to tenders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Part III qualified with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
• AABC/SCA accredited or already/willing to work towards it
• Conservation building experience is essential with proven technical skills to demonstrate this
• Experience in undertaking condition surveys and specifying repair works on historical buildings
• Excellent design and drawing skills and proven project-running experience
• Proven experience across all RIBA stages
• Good client-facing experience and communication skills
• Proven experience working on RIBA stage 4 & 5
• AutoCAD skills are essential, and Revit and NBS skills are very desirable
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
