Senior Architect Job in Chichester, West Sussex

A Senior Architect job is available, with a successful architectural practice in Chichester, West Sussex. The role would see you taking a lead role in running design-focused education and residential projects, with a strong emphasis on Special Educational Needs (SEN) projects across the UK. This position requires excellent client-facing skills and offers significant career progression opportunities.

Established 25 years ago, this practice has won numerous awards for its education projects. The practice prides itself on its collaborative team culture and the ability to bring creative design solutions to projects. The team of over 36 people is based in the city centre, offering easy access to local transport links.

Role & Responsibilities

• Working across all RIBA Stages
• Take a lead role in the running of projects as required
• Develop concept and planning drawings
• Using Revit daily
• Visit sites as required
• Dealing with external contractors
• Working as part of the close-knit design team
• Engage with clients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills & Experience

• Possess a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
• Experience in education and/or residential projects is highly beneficial
• Ability to use Revit is essential
• BIM Level 2 knowledge is highly advantageous
• Experience in specification writing is beneficial
• Portfolio showing design flair and passion for design
• Strong client-facing skills and a desire to progress in your career.

• £35,000 - £48,000
• 21 days annual leave + bank holidays
