Senior Assembly Technician
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Assembly Technician to join our client's dynamic team. Our client is a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry, known for their dedication to innovation and commitment to excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in assembly to take their career to the next level.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 -17:00 with an early finish on Friday @13:30
Location: Amesbury
Salary: £27,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts & components including small basic electrical sub assemblies to create a finished product from either build instructions or directly from drawings
- Lead, train and coordinating assembly operations
- Ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner
- Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labour
- Diagnosing problems in the production area and providing recommendations.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practice.
- Analysing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement
- Proven experience with electrical and mechanical assembly is essential
- A solid understanding of assembly processes and equipment
- The ability to work from drawings unsupervised
- A keen attention to detail & strong problem-solving abilities
- Supervisor experience is an advantage
