Senior Assistant Accountant - Part Time

A new role has been created within this very stable and growing business based in Derby for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work on a permanent, Part Time basis, 20 - 25 hours a week.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, our main duties as Senior Assistant Accountant will include:

• Working on both AR & AP including complex sales invoicing , cash allocation, processing purchase invoices
• Investigate and analyse the P & L for various subsidiaries
• Investigating any missing transactions and postings
• Commentaries on all variances Ensuring all the accounts are ready for month end and year end submissions
• Accruals and prepayments
• Liaising with site accountants
• Producing various reports for management

The company are totally flexible about when the hours are done, part days or full days, they offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, onsite parking, lovely open plan offices and study support would also be provided for this role if required. This role will be varied and interesting. Salary £32,000 - £35,000 Full Time Equivalent Applicants MUST have recent UK experience.
