Description
- Assist in the planning and execution of merchandising strategies
- Coordinate with the buying team to ensure stock availability
- Monitor sales and stock performance, implementing necessary adjustments
- Identify and report on current market trends
- Participate in the development of seasonal budgets
- Support the wider team to achieve company objectives
- Actively contribute to weekly trade meetings
- Maintain a keen understanding of the retail industry and market trends
Profile
A successful 'Senior Assistant Merchandiser' should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- Proven experience as a Senior MAA or Assistant Merchandiser within the retail industry
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and an ability to work under pressure
