An exciting opportunity has come up for a Senior Associate within Employment law to join a leading law firm in Bristol
Title:Senior Associate - Employment
Salary: £75,000 +
Contract: Full time permanent
Location: Bristol
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Associate Opportunity:
- Advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including contracts, policies, grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies, TUPE, and litigation
- Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, both for employers and employees
- Effective and efficient delivery of work on own matters, ensuring matters are profitable and work is resourced at the right levels
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team and assisting with business development activities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing excellent client service
Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Senior Associate Opportunity:
- Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years of PQE in employment law or equivalent
- Excellent technical knowledge of employment law and practice
- Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Input and implement ideas into the departmental business plan and demonstrate new business success from the BD activities
