Senior Audit Manager (Corporate Team) | Birmingham City Centre | £65,000 - £72,000
Simpson Judge are working with a Top 10 Accountancy Practice who are looking for a Senior Audit Manager, based in their Birmingham office. This is an opportunity that can lead to becoming a Partner within the firm further down the line.
This is a position in the Corporate Audit team so it is essential that candidates interested in this opportunity have experience in this sector.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and, managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and the firms Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent
- Significant experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to major companies, including listed (full list and AIM) companies and companies with international interests.
- Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
- Managing and developing staff (not only audit teams), i.e. coordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling, appraising, recruiting etc.
- Business development experience- able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
- Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.
