Senior Audit Manager

My client, a global Fast Moving Consumer Goods company, is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join their Corporate Audit team, based out of London. This is an opportunity to join a top global brand and play an influential role in the planning and execution of their Audit plan, encompassing commercial, operational, and financial audits.
Responsibilities

• Delivery of individual audit engagements, following professional audit standards and quality assurance practices.
• Contribute to the development of the annual audit plan and assist with the allocation of audit resources, to ensure execution and delivery.
• Lead individual audit engagements and oversee the audit process so that each audit is executed in the most effective and efficient manner.
• Prepare final audit reports and provide timely reporting of control issues along with cost-effective recommendations to management.
• Identify area for improvement, develop improvement program and monitor the implementation to increase process efficiency, cost effectiveness, or increase productivity.

Requirements:

• Experience in Internal Audit and/or Risk Assurance functions, good understanding of audit procedures and methodology is desired.
• Business knowledge of risks (commercial, manufacturing & distribution, environmental, social, people and human, governance, legal compliance and financial)
• Strong written and oral communication, organisational and time management skills and demonstrate.
• Understanding of financial, business processes, and control concepts.
• Strong presentation skills to communicate audit results to business partners and deliver training/coaching to team members.
• Attention to detail in the review of audit documentation and reports and apply analytical thinking for the evaluation of business processes and recommendation of solutions to address issues identified.
• Demonstrable experience in effective management of internal and external stakeholders, especially at senior level.
