We are currently seeking an expert individual to join this team in the role of Senior Culture Audit Manager.
The primary role of Global Internal Audit (GIA) is to help the Board and Executive Management to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the HSBC Group. GIA provides independent and objective assurance as to whether the design and operational effectiveness of the Group’s framework of risk management, control and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate.
Through its mandate, GIA aims to help improve the organisation by acting as an independent advisor who can challenge current practices, champion best practices and be a catalyst for improvement with the objective of ensuring that the organisation can achieve its strategic objectives.
At HSBC our Culture Audit team are responsible for delivering Culture Audits globally, that provide internal stakeholders with critical assessments of cultural risk across HSBC.
In this role, you will:
• Support Senior Management in the delivery of Culture Audits globally, that provide internal stakeholders with critical assessments of HSBC Cultural risk across HSBC.
• Provide independent, objective assessments to management and Risk and Audit committees on culture risk, using a data-driven and evidence-based approach.
• Lead Culture Audit activities utilising organisational psychology and behavioural science approaches, including interviews, focus groups, observations, documentation reviews and surveys. Support with delivery of the broader Culture Audit agenda including innovation and embedding of the Culture Audit methodology.
• Engage with and provide trusted and credible subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders combining organisational psychology and/or behavioural science know-how with knowledge of the business and the governance, risk and regulatory frameworks.
• Proactive stakeholder engagement, to ensure effective and efficient delivery of Culture Audits.
• Partner with GIA colleagues and wider HSBC stakeholders to affect strategic change.
