The Role
We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join our Digital Innovation & Experimentation team. The Senior Automation Tester is responsible for the implementation, execution and ongoing support of automated and performance testing, including tool selection, preparation of test plans, and the testing of software to and completion of testing according to PRS for Music’s testing guidelines.
The Digital Innovation & Experimentation Team work closely with teams across PRS to develop digital experiences for our members, customers and business partners. Our work is informed by Agile practice and user insight, to continually deliver fixes and features. We also lead digital in many projects with a commercial focus that develops ideas from inception to launch and beyond.

The Role

Responsibilities: As our Senior Automation Tester, some of your day to day duties will include….
- Be responsible for the highest quality delivery by executing/participating in all necessary QA activities such as automated, performance testing and ad-hoc manual testing.
- Develop, execute and maintain automation test plans and test code across multiple environments.
- Create, maintain and deliver the automated acceptance and regression test packs and contributing toward the continuous improvement of our testing and release process.
- Coach and mentor members of the team.

Key Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in .NET C# programming language.
- Sound knowledge/understanding of Object Orientated Programming and good coding principles.
- Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks, specifically recent versions of Selenium Webdriver and Specflow.
- Experience of API automation with RestSharp.
- Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
- Experience in writing and executing automated test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to create and maintain load and performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Ability to write and execute test plans and test cases.
Other Key Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and isolate defects quickly and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple:
- First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.
- Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.
