Auditor - ISO 9001 and ISO 22301

UK Advisory

CBRE is looking for an Auditor to join our Compliance team. You will be the primary point of contact for business continuity-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. You will provide training and awareness programs to employees on business continuity best practices and procedures, lead on audits and assessments to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22301 standards, ensuring our business is compliant with international standards in our London and regional offices.

About the role

As an Auditor, you will provide expertise in business process best practice in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 22301 for internal controls across our UK Advisory business, including reporting status and results and resolution of any open actions to internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll do

Best Practice

  • Coordinate internal audits
  • Coordinate external audit activities & Liaise with LRQA
  • Manage team of internal Auditors
  • Arrange and conduct training sessions for new auditors
  • Conduct follow up training for auditors and act as mentor
  • Carry out presentations to new teams on Business Management Systems (BMS)
  • Carry out new staff inductions; send invitations, arrange room
  • Keep auditing and other schedules up to date
  • Prepare auditing statistics twice yearly in preparation for the external audits
  • Update Business Management Systems (BMS) Manual
  • Update Compliance & Best Practice (C&BP) website on intranet
  • Lead in identifying non-conformances in ISO 9001 , tracking and closing of actions to remedy the non-conformance.
  • Facilitate ongoing quality improvements using risk-based methodology.

Business Continuity Plan

  • Responsible for keeping departmental and regional plans up to date (intranet)
  • Liaise with each department twice yearly to ensure above plans are updated.
  • Develop, plan and deliver rehearsal exercises on at least an annual basis in London, Glasgow and in Regional offices
  • Communicate with departments/regional office local incident response teams to plan rehearsals
  • Assist in developing and conducting risk assessments, as well as identifying prevention and mitigation efforts.
  • Contribute to developing a comprehensive program encompassing corporate emergency response, employee preparedness, and incident management.
  • Provide advice and guidance to local incident response teams
  • Conduct audits of Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) program to ensure ISO 22301 certification requirements are being met.

Other Duties

Assist with the completion of Quality Management and Business Continuity sections for pitch and RFI’s documents.

What you’ll need

  • Strong knowledge in applying and understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 22301
  • Auditing Experience/knowledge
  • PowerPoint and training ability/experience
  • Good knowledge of information technology and general business procedures in order to prepare business impact analysis forms
  • Data Analysis
  • Training development and delivery
  • Understanding of risk analysis
  • Meeting management and minute taking
  • Must have training in internal and external auditing to ISO 9001 and 22301.
  • Experience within a QA Management role
