You will be working in a team that must meet tight deadlines for each tender submission. You will need to collaborate with head office planners and estimators as well as reach-out to our regions

Working as part of a tight team, you will need to manage your time efficiently, appreciate how other departments work, and learn how to get the best out of them during each tender

Exceptional writing skills, ideally in the construction or a related industry are key to this role. If you are selected for interview we will ask you to take part in a written exercise that will allow us to best assess the skills you are able to bring to this role

Working with our Communications Officer to create case studies that will enhance our bids

Developing ideas for how we should best use our evidence to demonstrate Jackson's competencies and experience to our clients, and bringing these back to the team for discussion

Learning lessons, individually and for the business, will lead to fresh ideas that may appeal to our clients and prove key to winning work. Bespoke training will be provided to further develop and harness your skills.

An awareness and understanding of wider aspects,  such as social value, stakeholder management and environmental mitigation would be an advantage.

Main responsibilities:

Gathering, collating and managing quality information for business-critical bids and tenders

Compiling, writing and presenting quality information for tender submissions

Working with our pre-contracts planners and estimators to interpret methodologies for written submissions
