- Maintain organized and accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and other financial transactions.
- Regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for.
- Preparation of VAT returns and HMRC reporting.
- Prepare necessary documentation and assist in financial audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial procedures and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Accounts to trial balance with month-end reporting.
- AAT Qualified or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
