This very successful firm of accountants, based in Weston-Super- Mare offers a team focused environment, You will join one of their teams providing bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT returns and wider services along with the potential for involvement in year end accounts and tax work as you develop within the firm and role as well. The firm uses Digita software has a focus on Xero as a preferred online software package. The firm offers study support, flexible working hours and mix of home to office working.
Job Description
Joining as Senior Bookkeeper and Accountant based from their Weston-Super-Mare offices, you will carve a key, hands on role here, as you develop within this firm and environment acting for varied sole trader, partnership and limited company SME's and OMB's of varying size and industry sector, you will deliver and manage the provision of bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT returns and Xero online accounting advice. You will train clients on Xero, alongside moving and advising clients onto Xero, improve internal processes within their businesses and ensure they are MTD compliant. There will also be the potential for involvement in year end accounts and tax work as you develop within the firm and role as well, with support and training to prepare and submit financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns.
The Successful Applicant
You may be any of: AAT studying, or hold an AAT qualification and/or, ACCA studying. Also if supported by a relevant career history and technical skill set, a strong, relevant, experienced background only, is equally of interest. You will have anything from 2 - 3 years or significantly more experience within accountancy practice or industry, with demonstrable experience across bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns. You will have Xero or Sage knowledge and experience and be looking to develop and utilise this experience further, as a key addition to this growing and successful division within the firm.
What's on Offer
