Senior Brand Manager

We have a superb opportunity available to join a leading player within the FMCG sector in their Leeds Head Office, a brand with a global footprint who are driving continued innovation and growth within their market, on a 12-month contract as a Senior Brand Manager.

As a Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and execution of brand initiatives to maximise brand equity, market share, and profitability within FMCG sector. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns, innovate product offerings, and foster strong consumer connections. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and influence brand strategies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, alongside managing a team of 2 passionate and fun marketeers!

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Brand Manager:

• Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business objectives, market trends, and consumer insights.
• Identify and drive opportunities to grow sales and profitability of the brand portfolio.
• Track performance of the brand portfolio, implementing necessary plans to deliver objectives.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and innovation.
• Own the marketing expenditure budget and ensure maximum ROI and be responsible for costs that impact the brand and product.
• Collaborate with product development teams to conceptualise and launch new products that meet consumer needs and drive brand growth.
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 2 (Brand Manager and Assistant Brand Manager).

What are we looking for:

• Ideally educated to degree level, or a similar relevant qualification within Marketing.
• 4+ years brand/product marketing experience within a branded environment, ideally from an FMCG background working with multiple retailers.
• Experience developing and implementing branding strategies and action plans.
• Strong and confident communicator, able to work alongside internal teams (e.g. Sales, Category Management and NPD) and external stakeholders (e.g. media, PR and advertising agencies).
• Able to devise creative and innovative brand solutions, with a strategy-led and proactive approach.
• Proactive, forward thinking and focused on developing your career within an environment where you will be constantly encouraged within a close and focused team.
