We are looking for a Senior Broker Relationship Manager, based in London.
Your Team
Our team is part of the wider Allianz Distribution function and we are committed to enabling profitable growth for Allianz Commercial in the UK through managing broker and client relationships and sourcing great opportunities.
The Impact You Will Have
Based in London and reporting directly to the Head of Distribution London, you will be responsible for growing the Allianz Commercial portfolio through your assigned panel of brokers. Through pipelining and relationship management you will facilitate growth in the global corporate and specialty insurance sector across multiple product lines. You will be the focal point for insights into your Brokers and the wider London Market and provide communication on Allianz Commercial risk appetite and offering to our broking partners.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Proactively manage the relationship process and strengthen the business relationship with key brokering partnersSchedule and participate in regular development meetings and capability pitches in order to actively managing the pipeline of renewals and new business prospects, contact mapping, contributing towards the planning and hosting of broker hospitality events Facilitate broker's understanding of Allianz Commercial underwriting appetites and capabilities and act as point of access to Allianz Commercial for broker enquiriesDrive Broker Relationship mapping to increase Allianz Commercial profile and promote Allianz Commercial as preferred insurer amongst key broker partnersSuccessfully increase Allianz Commercial "Size of Global Broker Wallet", meeting New/Upsell and Cross Sell targets as per local sales plan for global brokers What You'll Bring to the Role
Experience of fostering long term, profitable relationships in broker and/or client organisationsA successful track record of prospecting and winning new clients in the industrial / specialty insurance segment, as well as experience with International Program BusinessA proven track record of Underwriting or Development role in industrial / specialty insurance businessRobust knowledge in various Lines of BusinessExperience of delivering in an analytical role (sales environment, controlling roles or similar). Able to implement tools and methodologies to develop market, competitor, and client insightAble to define segmentation and client differentiation strategies; and be able to define clear value propositionAble to work in an international matrix organisationStrong communication skillsFluent English language skills30336 | Sales & Distribution | Professional | Allianz Commercial | Full-Time | Permanent
