The Senior Building Surveyor's role
The successful Senior Building Surveyor will undertake a variety of tasks, contributing to projects in commercial, residential, and insurance sectors. This role demands a versatile skill set and the ability to manage diverse projects effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling high-value design and contract administration instructions.
- Dealing with insurance claims and preparing detailed defect reports.
- Applying a thorough understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
- Managing projects in compliance with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
The successful Senior Building Surveyor will have?
- BSc or MSc in Building Surveying or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in building surveying, particularly in high-value design and contract administration.
- Proven capability in handling insurance claims and producing defect reports.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
- Familiarity with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
