Senior Building Surveyor

Job title: Building Surveyor
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Dependant on Experience
Location: Birmingham

Our client, a leading name in the industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Surveyor to join their team. Responsibilities:
* Conducting detailed building surveys, assessments, and inspections to identify defects, maintenance issues, and compliance with regulations.
* Preparing comprehensive reports, including condition surveys, schedules of work, and specifications.
* Providing expert advice on building regulations, planning applications, and construction methods.
* Managing and overseeing projects, including contract administration and cost control.
* Conducting feasibility studies and advising clients on the viability of construction projects.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in building surveying or a related field.
* Membership of a professional body such as RICS or CIOB is highly desirable.
* Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally within a consultancy environment.
* In-depth knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and relevant legislation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools.
