Role - Senior Business Analyst
Contract Length - 6 Months
Rate - £400 per day / Outside IR35
Location - Milton Keynes / hybrid-working

Overview
Our client a future focused government organisation is in the process of implementing new technology's and new ways of working, with a strategic vision and growth targets at its heart. The Digital Capability Business Analyst with work closely with the SME's digital capability teams to gather functional and nonfunctional requirements from customers/stakeholders. This role will see you defining business requirements and identifying/analysing options to assess feasibility for the best needs of the business.
Key Capabilities include;
Apply structured approaches to identify, investigate, analyse and communicate complex business problems and opportunities, within a defined project
Lead the analysis, identification, design, prioritisation and possible implementation of process and business changes to improve business operations and services
Analyse business goals, objectives, functions and processes, using relevant information and data to support the definition of requirements
Conduct options analysis, assess feasibility and operational impact, quantify potential business benefits and contribute to business case development
Help to ensure proposed solutions meet business and user needs
Ensure compliance with internal and customer required standards and protocols, including change/problem/issue/risk management and security.
Production of Outline and Full Business cases to secure funding for proposed solutions.
Skills and Experience;
Bridging the gap between the technical and non-technical. You can mediate between people and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
You can evolve and define governance and take responsibility for collaborating and supporting services in wider governance.
Strategy and analysis to evaluate data. You can define and challenge strategies, patterns, standards, policies, road-maps and vision statements and provide advise across the organisation.
Understanding the whole context. You can understand trends and practices within the broader organisation and how these will impact on your work. You can look for deeper underlying problems and opportunities and anticipate problems before they occur. You can identify the impact of changes to policy.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
Experience of new technologies including Cloud and working on enterprise wide internal change programmes.
