This role is for a Senior Business Analyst responsible for requirement analysis, testing and providing solutions for Cash Account Platform within Payments Technology. A key part of the Cash Account Platform is the delivery of technology solutions for Treasury and Cash Management groups to perform their business functions. Technical challenges in the technology space include constantly increasing level of Straight Through Processing (STP) with low latency/high volume data feeds, multi-dimensional aggregation & presentation, strong transaction management for absolute data integrity, and effective fault-tolerance for maximum availability. The technology solution provides stakeholders a real time view of the firm's liquidity intraday, calculates the firm's intraday positions, generates and sends alerts when specified indicators and limits are breached, and has a repository of data for management and regulatory reporting.

The candidate will be expected to lead /perform data analysis, create and maintain requirement documentation, help with testing (exploratory manual testing and automated acceptance testing), work closely with product owners and application developers to develop end user applications and data feeds within the Cash & Payment Services Architecture. Development will be adhering to Lean & Agile delivery methodologies. Development will take place in a continuous integration environment leveraging tools and processes to ultimately increase the control, quality and business value of the development team products.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Minimum 5+ years of Business Analysis work experience in a Software Development Project
  • Proficiency in business applications and experienced in data analysis
  • Ability to write SQL to analyze data
  • Extensive requirements analysis, elaboration and documentation skills required
  • Experience in Data Modelling , Data Governance
  • Knowledge in Data Architecture
  • Database skills, preferably in Oracle
  • Excellent understanding of Lean/Agile Methodologies
  • Good Experience using tools like JIRA , confluence,
  • Experience in Test Driven Development and Acceptance Test Driven Development will be an added advantage, including frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin
  • Ability to liaise between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with your team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to keep sight of the overall context and remain centred on the strategic picture, identify areas of opportunity for improvement
  • Excellent informal leadership skills and teamwork skills
  • Strong Organizational skills - ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
  • Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated

Desired Experience / Skills:

  • Cash Management and Payments knowledge
  • Technical background and an experience in the financial industry
  • Exposure to UX / UI Design Tools would be desirable
