Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities within the pump and compressor industry in the UK. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the industry landscape, and the ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities within the pump and compressor industry in the UK.
  • Analyze customer needs, preferences, and pain points to tailor our offerings to meet market demands.


Business Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Business Development strategy for the UK market, aligning with company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business avenues, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand the company's footprint.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new partnerships.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions that address their specific challenges.


Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Drive sales initiatives, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and adjust strategies to ensure continuous growth.


Networking and Industry Engagement:

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance visibility and create networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with industry associations and stakeholders to stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in Business Development and sales within the pump and compressor industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
