Senior Business Development Manager
As part of our continued growth strategy across the Fibre and Telecoms sectors, we are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will support the management of a sustainable pipeline of work which reflects the current and anticipated business strategy and regional business plans.
You will achieve this by collaborating with the team and interpreting their data, to engage with the client, key stakeholders, and potential partner organisations and convert opportunities into tenders for the proposals team.
The Senior Business Development Manager would also be responsible for:
- Developing and leading sector and client business and marketing plans with a view to deliver our 1-to-5-year plan.
- Verify new opportunities in the Win Work pipeline.
- Analyse the customer base across Solutions30 to establish a common approach to retention and growth.
- Undertake key research to understand the Business and project drivers of sectors, customers, and potential opportunities to form client relationships.
- Interact with sectors and customers to anticipate potential business opportunities and implement actions that will encourage engagement with Solutions30.
- Prepare programmes of external communication, customer surveys and engagement, as well as brand promotion, which will contribute to the achievement of our objectives and lead to additional sales.
- Pipeline maintenance and performance monitoring with regular evaluations of outputs and milestones in line with overall vertical progression.
- Register on relevant work winning portals preparing and implementing any necessary PQQ templates.

- Demonstrable business knowledge in Fibre and Telecoms sectors.
- 4 years’ experience in a similar role would be desirable.
- Quickly adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
- Able to work independently and with the broader team.
- Excellent analysis & communication skills.
- Bid writing and Bid Process management skills.
- Basic MSP milestone planning.
- Excellent command of office software suite.
