Market Leading engineering business seeking a Senior Buyer
Your new role
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will take responsibility for a diverse range of categories, depending on candidate skills could be direct or indirect spend. You will be expected to lead end to end supplier engagement and sourcing activities, from definition of business requirements, sourcing, tender analysis, negotiation, performance monitoring and ongoing procurement life cycle management. You will be an integral part of the supplier audit and risk assessment processes and be heavily involved in driving the business' sustainability agenda.

What you'll need to succeed
- Procurement experience, including the ability to negotiate at a senior level covering a diverse range of categories.
- Have good organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines by prioritising accordingly
- Experience gained within the Engineering / Manufacturing / Energy Sector
- CIPS Level 5 or 6 qualified, or Level 4 if you have a strong background as a Buyer.
- Experience of creating end-to-end Procurement Tenders essential.
- Direct and indirect experience across a range of categories helpful.
What you'll get in return
Salary up to £55,000 + 15% Bonus - depending on experience and qualification
Hybrid working arrangements - with need to be office based in Northants 3 days a week
