Join a leading global FMCG firm as a Senior Buyer in their Direct Procurement Team. As a Senior Buyer specialising in Direct Procurement, you be instrumental in developing and sourcing strategies for direct materials.

Your Role:

• To collaborate with stakeholders and clients to ensure the timely and cost effective delivery of high-quality materials, whilst maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
• Drive innovation improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency
• Identify, evaluate and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance (quality, cost and delivery)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on direct materials
• Demonstrate success in supplier negotiations, cost-saving initiatives and supplier relationship management
• A degree within a relevant field. CIPs/ MCIPs is preferred but not required
