An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-motivated and experienced candidate to join an established business as a Buyer .
The successful candidate will be from a Manufacturing background with relevant work experience.
As an experienced Buyer you will cover the following key Duties.
- Managing stock levels
- Raise subcontract / raw material PO's
- Checking contract review prices
- Running weekly order books
- Attending meetings to review current shortages
- Daily maintaining of supplier trackers
- Supporting the purchasing team through data entry
- Raising manual orders, managing invoice queries, communicating with suppliers and other general day-to-day office duties.
- Strong Team player
- Good knowledge of all MS office applications, specifically excel to an advanced level.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Confident and well organised
- Proactive and able to multitask.
- Drive and determination to succeed.
- Strong and confident communication and customer liaison skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
- Excellent time management skills, methodical worker with high level attention to details.
