An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistantto join a medium-sized residential care home based in Reading specialising in Dementia Care.

The home are recruiting for Senior Care Assistants to join their experienced and qualified care team on permanent contracts.

• 12ph with pay increase after 3-6 month probation
• 8-8 shift times

Requirements of the Senior Care Assistant Role:

• Proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant within a residential home or similar environment
• Previous experience in administering medication is required
• NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

Responsibilities of the Senior Care Assistant Role:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting
• Manage a team of Care Assistants
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
