Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at our care home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication according to care plans and ensure proper documentation
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the homes manager
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
- Supervise and mentor care staff, providing guidance and support
- Assist in developing care plans for residents and ensure they are followed
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities
- Update Care Plans on Electronic Devices
- Complete weekly home audits
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Senior Care or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership abilities, able to supervise and motivate a team
- Knowledge of care planning processes and procedures

Salary: From £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
