Salary: £12.00 - £12.50 per hour

Position Overview:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to the residents. You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support as they carry out their duties. Your compassion, empathy, and dedication will contribute to creating a nurturing and welcoming atmosphere within our residential home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support care assistants in their day-to-day tasks, including personal care, medication administration, and meal assistance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and ensure that care plans are updated accordingly.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic care for residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and any significant changes in residents' conditions.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and autonomy among residents and staff.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification (preffered)
- Previous experience working in a care setting, preferably with elderly residents.
