Are you an experienced Procurement professional ready to drive change and be part of a dynamic, strengthening team? Join us as a Senior Category Manager in a critical role within our rapidly transforming Procurement team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead commercial activities across a diverse portfolio, including Marketing, Operations, Product, HR, Finance, and Facilities.
Negotiate exceptional supply contracts to maximise value.
Partner with Functional Leaders and Contract Owners to create optimised supply contracts and develop Category Supplier Strategies and vendor road-maps.
Oversee Vendor Management, supporting Contract Owners and driving Quarterly Business Reviews with Tier 1 vendors.
Deliver elements of Procurement Transformation, focusing on process simplification and digitisation.
Drive contract completion, liaising with Legal, DP, Infosec, and Finance to ensure strong contracts.
Provide procurement advice and assist the business with procurement-related questions.
Train other team members to aid in their development.
Maintain a monthly Win Sheet of completed commercial contracts.
Characteristics for Success:
Exceptional commercial and financial acumen, with a solid understanding of how to create value from supply agreements.
Negotiation prowess and pragmatic approach, with the ability to exercise sound judgement.
Gravitas to be a strong ambassador for the business in front of suppliers.
Experienced in contract review and mark-up with an understanding of contract law principles.
Excellent people skills and confidence to work with people at all levels, both internal and external.
Methodical, organised, and able to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Conscientious work ethic with the ability to manage your workload and prioritise accordingly.
Qualifications/Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 8 years within a similar role, with extensive experience in contract negotiation.
