Senior Childcare Lawyer with Management

Salary: £49,500 - £56,750 per annum (+ additional £1,400 per year whilst managing)

Location: South East

Working: Hybrid

About the Senior Childcare Lawyer Role:

Sellick Partnership are proud to be working with an exceptional shared legal services team in the heart of the South East. We are looking for a Senior Childcare Lawyer to join a large alternative business structure operating on behalf of public Sector Clients which includes local government and children's trusts. The role is to specifically work as part of a team in the provision of childcare on behalf of public sector clients in the East Midlands and South East whilst stepping up into a line management role supervising and mentoring members of the team.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Childcare Lawyer role:

  • To be a lead within the team taking responsibility for the more complex and difficult childcare cases
  • Providing guidance and support to other members of the team whilst directly line managing 2-3 members of the team
  • To contribute to the management of the team, deputising for the Principal Solicitor/Head of Service as and when required, attending management meetings
  • To supervise and mentor other members of the team in a line management capacity

The role will be a hybrid working arrangement and you will have the opportunity to work from 1 of their 3 offices in central Northampton one day per week.
