Senior Civil Engineer

This position offers the successful candidate the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, providing a mix of remote and office working from Lincoln. Due to our clients continued growth, they are looking for a driven Civil Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary Consultancy to contribute to exciting Highways and Drainages projects. You will have the opportunity to work with Engineers and Technicians on a range of sectors, including, Energy, Defence, Infrastructure, Nuclear, Rail and Waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Civil Engineering design and provide supervision and support more junior staffReview temporary Works Highways and Drainage related designsProduce As-built records of Highways and Drainages assetsEnsure the provision of efficient and high-quality Engineering servicesLiaisie with head office designersEnsuring Health & Safety within the ASC organisationMeeting time-frame and quality targetsSolving Highways and Drainage issuesReviewing construction Products and Materials for Highways and DrainagesProduce designs for projects in accordance with relevant design standards and codesComply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedureskey Requirements
Proven experience working as a Civil EngineerHND or degree level qualification in Civil Engineering or a relevant subjectIdeally a chartered Engineering statusCompetent in Highway designExperienced in foul and surface water drainage designAble to prepare drainage strategies and flood risk assessmentsExperience in liaising with local authorities and other stakeholders to obtain necessary technical approvalsProficiency using computer design software packages including MicroDrainage and AutoCAD Civil 3DGood interpersonal and communication skillsStrong understanding of CDM RegulationsBenefits:
